$10k Full Size Truck - Are there any good ones?

I figure if I can't get comfortable in a current gen, I won't in a previous one.

The used truck/suv market is nuts lately. Everything feels overpriced.

You can get a new full sized Silverado 4x4 for about 30-35k with lifetime powertrain warranty and 0% for 72, or for $25k a used one with 100k miles on it. At that point, makes sense to buy new.

If you can find a non rusted avalanche I say get one still. Can be found for 10k and meet all you needs.

Avalanche forum. Someone just posted a 2500 with 150k miles. NO RUST. I wish I could sell mine and buy it. For 4,800. That will tow anything you ever....ever....need to. Go buy it. Keep a daily driver for gas.

Those are the years I'd recommend, you get the VVT motor with like 40 more hp and the 5spd auto.

They seem to be around $15k up here with around 150k on them. Don't think I need the full crew cab. Never use the back seats. Plus if we keep the kia that would be the people hauler. I'm sure an access cab would be enough.

Why is 3 the limit? This all can be solved and save you money in the long run with an extra vehicle. Daily driving a truck that can tow what you prob never will own, I say that because you can’t decide on a vehicle....let alone something to tow, is costing you a ton in gas and upfront costs. Is it maintaining? Insurance? Yes those can be a lot but you need to sit down and figure out how much you actually are gonna spend time get what you “want” and how much you are actually gonna spend on another vehicle.

That's all the room I have. Seriously. With 3, 2 are in the garage and one is half in the driveway half in the yard.

Main reason for truck is comfort, utility, and reliability. Not really worried about towing with this one. Full size suv would work too but if I'm spending the money on a suv I'm getting a truck.

I TOTALLY realize how big you are. I’m not saying a small car, just something better than the 10mpg vehicle that you would need to tow with. Heck a 3/s would prob fit you and get mid 20’s. You might even get smaller with all the walking you would be doing.

Stereo is easily replaced it's a standard double din slot. And major components are much more reliable than a F150 in your price range.
