2016 Outback

Post by Chris GTO TT »

Last April we bought an Outback to replace the Legacy 2.5GT wagon Jen had. Today we took the Outback exploring around Truckee and Donner.

Looks like a great way to spend the day.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

Yep it's a great, albeit slow, all around car. I was pleasantly surprised how well it delt with a narrow single track climb with decent ruts. I didn't really notice any wheel slip.

Sure the 3.6R would have been preferred, but neither of us wanted to pay for it. Besides we're enjoying getting 28mpg on this trip to Truckee.

I thought about it but we decided not to go the rest of the way into Reno.

Are you happy with it? Any issues? I wouldn’t mind driving one.

My wife loves it. We have 32k on it in 2 years and 3 months no issues at all, other than a recall right after we bought it.

I was following my wife for a bit today after we met for lunch and I'm really happy with the way the Rokblokz look. For the most part they are super subtle so they don't stand out.
