I have a problem

Post by Tujin »

Getting kinda bored/frustrated with my VR-4, so I bought (buying) a Starion. Its an 87 Widebody, has a T3 turbo, turbo timer, SAFC (gonna sell), suspension, and some other mods. Gonna do the MPI (multi port injection) conversion, with a Megasquirt ECU. Going to pick it up next weekend.

Yeah. Really, all my VR-4 needs, is for me to pull the motor so I can finally do the ABS delete (driver's side front brake line is HOLDING pressure in it after I let off. Something in the pump, tried bleeding the shit out of it to no avail). So once the Starion is up and running, I'll probably get around to finally doing that on the VR-4. I really just wanted one, and saw a pretty decent opportunity, so I'm going for it.

I've read about the electrical problems 87s have. Another reason why I want to go megasquirt quickly :)

I need MPI soon, the stock TBI is oh so crappy.

Love the Conquest though.

I've got the Conquest now after the DSMs and 3/Ss...

Only the 3/S TT bests it stock for stock. I love whats with my Conquest not stock though.
