never updated here but most probably already know...9.65 @143. Top5 all-time 3S quicklist and the 2nd quickest 60ft next to 3sX's race car and quicker than Nelson's record setter with a car that's too heavy (really is , ~5-600lbs heavier than those) and an engine too small.

That was at 40psi. I re-did my hotside intercooler piping. One of the pipes was crushed from blowing off. No more gap to bridge with silicone and used breeze constant tension worm clamps.
Adding a second set of injectors this winter so I can lower the base pressure and get more out of my twin 450's. Also may tighten up the converter. Getting close to overpowering it based on how it reaceted going from 34 to 40psi. Turbo still has 10-15psi and 100-150hp left in it.

Foolish. You could have built a faster DSM!!!

Couple vids from Import Alliance. Drags were run as a test and tune, but was the quickest import there. 2nd quickest import was 10 flat RX7 (FC) with an LS swap and I believe around 80mm turbo (not cranked up yet but chassis looked well developed) Quickest car was a turbo Trans Am in the 9.3 range. Didn't get to see it so not sure the details. https://www.youtube.com/v/0Pqit-sD4nw https://www.youtube.com/v/1_kKY8Mloic

Bump. Read the first few pages again. Couldn't make it much further with the BS.
Man I sure am a retarded dumb fuck that doesn't understand engines and car will be undrivable on the street. Many street miles. Many 9 sec passes. (and higher boost runs on the street that would have been low 9's). 2nd in Max Effort (mostly autox competition) at the shootout against DSMs weighing less to start with and gutted while I always kept full interior in my car. Either the car worked or I'm one hell of a driver. Take your pick.
Funny how it went from retarded to now it's not fair. Too easy.
Yes, I'm a cheap bastard that doesn't like to spend money where I don't have to. Yes it made it super easy to work on. Yes it ended up doing well in the 1/4 weighing more than 90% of the top10 list. Some success in no prep events. But it also did well on the street, in autox and I had a great time with it. Car has been out cruising around with my wife, local events, car shows, and racing while most never make it off the keyboard. Learned a ton along the way and even pushed a few new ideas. (dual oring with a $19 composite head gasket running up to 50psi. Same setup has taken more than 50psi on garrett's car and ran 8.61)
As most know, I've gone full retard and put an LS powerglide in it, non-intercooled. Also been told it won't work on the street. So far it is slower than my 4g by far, but it will get there. If not, still fun to learn new engine platform, push my fab skills, learn a new tuning software/ecu etc, and wicked burnouts.
On the 4g, this is my closing "middle finger" to this obscure little corner of the interwebs

No doubt it worked well for what you wanted out of it.
What I don't get is that it worked so well that you had to ditch it and go LS? Seemed like you had a solid performer and you were having a lot of fun with it as it was. If you wanted a fast LS, there's tons of cars out there that already have everything in them ready to mod. Wouldn't it have been tons easier to pick up a C5 Corvette and mod that and keep your 3S how it was and continue enjoying it?

Coop, since the 4g is gone. It was my last fuck you. Wasnt the point from the naysayers made over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Can I not make my point again? I also didnt make the point here that I also did pretty well at autox at the shootout against prepped autox cars. And yeah, a little bored this morning waiting to go to my daughters volleyball tourney.
As for why I didnt keep it 4g and do a separate car. Many reasons. I believe I was nearing the limits (low9s) of a streetable (handling, responsiveness, drivetrain reliability, etc) setup at my weight (3300lbs). Wanted to do something different again and push my fab skills. Car was already caged and setup okay with coilovers so didnt really want to start over with a new chassis. I dont need/want a full blown racecar so didnt make sense to keep it and go full race car with it. Or same for a c5. So Id end up with two compromised vehicles instead of just one trying to do it all on a budget. Also, lot of local LS guys that have been asking me to tune, so good opportunity to start playing around and learn. I need to play with a stock ecu car though too. Not everyone will want ms3.
That said, it ended up being a lot more work than I expected so highly not recommending it to anyone. Better to start with a rwd car to swap or as you said, c5. Dont disagree at all there.

Doh...forgot a big one.... and a very very big reason, parting out my 4g, auto, intake, turbo etc, funded a very large chunk of my build. I even have a spreadsheet put together for part out funding and cost of doing new build before I started the build at all.

Eric you still selling the 4g swap mounts? Jared Early was asking me about me about them for his 3000GT he has sitting around collecting dust. He is more interested in doing a 4g swap, because he knows 4g's inside and out, than he is in fixing the spun bearing 6g sitting in the corner.

Cool. I'll let him know. I finally found the site where you sell them today, well I finally remembered to look.
Maybe next year he'll bring a 4g powered 3s to the Shootout to accompany the Conquest.

He can just message me on Facebook directly too. More 3Ss the better at Shootout. 4g or 6g. Either way!
I know....
I may swap it all to a colt hatch and drop an LS in the 3000 after I check off my 3S 4g goals.
And a post from 2 years ago. So your, if the 4g is so good, why did you swap it can also get a big middle finger. Ive been thinking about it for awhile. Like to build and play.
AWD Colt is still a want. Just dont have the space or capacity to do all the projects I want. Hell, my car could get a 4G back in at some point, you never know 4G powerglide adapters exist already.
