isnt this the green tt you fixed up to sell and said was good? im assuming you bought it without a longblock or a SB....where did you get the replacement? or should I say what did you replace on this car? maybe some more info on the cars original problems and what you did to it could help....

Front turbo was SHOT!. shaft was bent, and it was pressurizing the engine. They just finished replacing it, ALL GOOD

I got the entire engine (minus turbos, IC pipes, etc) from Big Mikey (audible), and we knew it was good. it had smoked when he had it, but whatever. When we swapped out his "backwards" pcv valve, the car stopped smoking

anyway, I guess since we replaced the rear turbo, we forgot to double check the front. Oh well, it's fixed, I'm hopefully delivering the car to the dealership today. We were supposed to meet him at 8am to deliver this car, and set up a few more cars for him to buy from us, but we couldn't make it at 8, so... hopefully he's free this afternoon

In my defense, that pic is ancient, and wasn't one of my better ones. It just happened that was the first one I found that gave a decent look at what we work with. Hell, I was still running a MAS a that time (I'm using a setup with no MAS now), which hasn't been on my car in years.

So, where's your underhood shots? Let's see how clean yours is.

didnt this engine have like 100-120k on it....hope you replaced the bearings on that as well as gave it a 120k if it wasnt done.....otherwise its a ticking time bomb for the poor sucker who buys it from the stealership

uh, no.

oil pressure is perfect, no ticking, pulls hard, and once we replaced the backwards pcv valve, there was no smoke at all.

The person who buys this from the dealership will probably have one of the best running 3/S's in the entire state

its hard to keep track of ppls mileages let alone mods....100k is close enough to 90k....i was just wondering if the 120k was done....bc she mentioned earlier it was dropped right in from ur car....

Why don't you try selling cars to people in Canada? The demand for "rare" and "desireable" cars has gone WAY up since the Canadian dollar is so strong. To Canadians it's like suddenly prices in the US dropped by 25+%.

Just sold a Datsun 240Z the other day for, what I thought was a generous $6500 and the guy is driving it back to canada and already has a buyer lined up for $11k!!
