youre trading in a subaru for a subaru. keep what you have as its a known quantity. theyre all going to need oil leak repairs.

explorer ST.....GREAT!!!! oh. its the ST-line? yeah....no.

mach-e. go drive one. i can only comment on what ive read but word is theyre not very comfortable.
We actually prefer the 2.3 explorer because they get significantly better mpg. 300hp and 300lb-ft of torque are plenty especially when compared to the like 175 in our outback.

We drove a couple of them last weekend and didn't have any complaints. The 25+ definitely ride better than the 21-24s. Any EV we'd be interested in needs to be rated at 300 miles of range so we could still use it for some road trips.

Just ran the numbers on a Lucid Air Pure and it's at least $350 a month more than what we're comfortable with.

It's 24 vs 27mpg highway (when equipeed with AWD) for the ST vs ST Line. 1mpg more for each with just RWD. 3MPG isn't going to be that much of a difference in the real world.

perhaps but when going from a vehicle capable of getting 30+mpg on the highway to one that get 24 with a smaller tank that hurts.

Yeah but the Explorer is also a class size or 2 above the Outback.

The diff between 30mpg and 25mpg is 100 gallons of fuel per year. So like $450-500 more

I get the math but still it's a factor along with an equivalent ST being basically $10k more
