It smokes so much.

its blue, definantly smells like oil, and it happens from when i hit the gas after decel mostly. The ypipe has oil on it on the rear turbo side. So i probably replaced a blown rear turbo with another...blown rear turbo. But then again it smokes at idle and when I rev it too. Meh.

Sounds like valve seals. If you engine brake down a hill and see smoke when you gas it, i'd bet valve seals.

How much oil in the y-pipe?

Pull off the intake tubes and check to see if the turbo even spins.

When you replaced the turbo, did you replace the fee/return lines too?

The feed/return lines have less then 300 miles on them. Possibly less then that actually.

Turbo spins, the car is fast as fuck, but it burns oil. It also still leaks from somewhere. I just resealed the oil pan and torqued all the bolts. So I am confused. The rear main seal looked brand new when the engine was out. I bought it with 15k miles on it...the bearings looked brand new. The heads were ported and rebuild along with the new shorty. It has 20psi at 800rpms so I do not beleive it is an engine problem.

No weird noises, nothin. Just blue smelly smoke. I wouldn't give a damn but its straight embarassing to drive it and it smells terrible.

I HAVE gutted all of my cats. I don't think that matters though because the smoke is blue and smells like burning oil, while I would expect to see black smoke that smells like fuel if it were infact smelly and smokey because of the catlessness.

Disconnect the hose that goes to the PCV valve and cap it. Leave the pcv valve open.

Go for a drive. If it still smokes like a SOB, remove the pcv valve, go out for another drive, and report back.

pcv valve blown? I made sure it was off of a twin turbo, I blew into it and it closed before I put it in.

Also, to be perfectly clear, the valve that connects to the intake mani right?

Ok, started it and let it idle. revved it and it still smoked with the PCV valve line capped and the pcv valve open.

So the next step must be to remove the valve and go drive?

The PCV valve is located on the front valve cover and has a hose that goes from it to the lower intake plenum.

It's gonna take a bit before the smoke clears. That's why I said you should take it out for a drive.

I see. Will do after dinner.

I drove it to a friends house, and the smoke isn't THAT bad...but still. Also, I beleive my BOV is honking, funny thing is it is a DSM bov. Oh well.

Yep, still smokes. Went on like a 5 or 10 minuet drive and when I got home I revved it up and blue smoke went everywhere.

Did it without pcv too.
