4 wheelers

Re: 4 wheelers
Yea I’ve seen some fit in the back. It’s looks a bit funny but it works. Just don’t slam the brakes.

Re: 4 wheelers
Installed the trickle charger. Seems to be working. Got an extra lead so I can switch it between the lawn mower and the 4 wheeler. Just the lawn mower is harder to put on so it will have to be later.
Um which one did you buy bro?
I picked one that was 1.5amp instead of just 1. I will have to go look at which one exactly. I also liked the fact that the one I got if the power went out it auto reset and kept working. My huge stand alone will not do that.
I put the other lead on the lawn mower and will prob alternate them once a week or when it says its full. If both end up being full I have the clamps to put it on the vr4 as well.
Decent reviews. Hope it works well.
Went down to mow and it said the 4 wheeler was already charged all the way. So after I mowed I plugged in the mower, it said it was over half but was charging. So seems to work pretty fast honestly.
Also 4 wheeler started right up, I do need more idle screw though. Finally got to get on it when I was done and before I put it up, plenty of power and didnt cut out. So Im pretty happy.
I have been looking at factory winches and factory snorkels. Both pretty cheap but would be cool to add.

Re: 4 wheelers
Wife wanted to drive the 4 wheeler....started right up. Fuel everywhere. Somehow the fuel line came loose. Put it back on, the clamp is just to big. I really pushed down on it but prob gonna but a smaller worm clamp. Gave me a good time to adjust the idle though.
All fixed but wife doesn’t wanna ride it now. Lol.

Re: 4 wheelers
Hose is probably old and crusty. Replace it and use a factory spring clamp instead of a worm gear clamp.

Hose is brand new, father in law replaced it thinking that was the original problem. Got rid of the spring clamp as well and used this worm clamp. I ordered an assortment pack of both as I dont really have any small of either, cheap and when you need one you dont wanna go out for that.
Comes Friday. Its secure now but I will do better Friday.

Re: 4 wheelers
Is the hose the right diameter? It really shouldn't even need a clamp to be secure and not leak.
Every time I used a worm gear clamp on those smaller hoses, they've ended up leaking before long. The right sized spring clamp seems to put more even pressure on the hose all the way around, that's why I suggested it.

It seems a little big, its prob one size to big. Maybe I will see if I can find the oem part.

Re: 4 wheelers
Deff wrong hose, it came off again. I got the clamps in and got a smaller clamp so it’s on the other side of the nipple. It better not come off now.
Wife has been riding it and loves it. That’s good. It’s a lot of fun honestly. I need to do all fluids with a spark plug and air filter.

Re: 4 wheelers
The front and rear diff guards were so caked full of grass clippings that water wasn’t draining from them. So I took those off and cleaned them out and checked out the diff fluid. The fluid is so clean that I’m not gonna change it. Holy poop is it clean. I will do oil and prob radiator fluid. But the diffs are perfect.

Prob gonna buy something like this.
https://www.ebay.com/p/217490877?iid=18 ... gJrGfD_BwE
That way the rear seat will still fit that I want and I can carry things.

Re: 4 wheelers
You may not be able to carry much without putting weight on the front end. At least not if you rip around on your wheeler like I do. If I shift my weight back on the seat much, wheelies get real easy. Probably depends how much yours weighs, where the center of gravity is with you on it, and how much you like to rip on the throttle.

Good to keep in mind. Ive barely got on it, still need more seat time. I think the manual said I can have 200lbs on the rack and I only wanna have it to put stuff in so I can carry things around and not just toy with it.
Still want a winch as well. That will prob be my next purchase for it after the carrying area.
I feel like jason and his truck.
