1g carbotechs on IPS?

Post by Twin-Turbo »

I found these at IPS' site. I need some new rotors becuase mine are too out of spec to turn, so these are awesome. I had no idea they had carbotechs for the 1g.

Wow....$329 is cheap? I guess I've been out of the 3/S scene too long...seems awfully expensive!

carbotechs are extremely popular with the people who run road courses on a regular basis, bluemax_1 runs them and swears by them as does Multides and i believe phil at supercar.

Carbotechs are that good? I may have to look into them than.

I always got Brembo blanks. Surprisingly, Napa also makes great quality high-end rotors available for certain cars...not the 3/S unfortunately.

I ordered a set of slotted rotors from the US once. ONCE! Shipping was going to cost me over $550USD! I asked the guy politely if I could bail on the sale and told him why. He was fine with it.

We get DBA rotors over here and they are great. Max will know how they compare to the carbotechs. They are around the $150USD per rotor over here.

EDIT - $329 for all four with free shipping is in-fucking-credible!

My Bradi's and Axxis Ultimates are on their way out. They still have a couple of years left if I just stay on the street. But there is a road coarse event coming up in November that I really want to do. I foresee me shortening their life span quite a bit.
