What is a good brand?

Looking for upto 250 ft-lb, the ones at sears only go up to 150 ft-lbs.

thanks vr-4, i was hoping you would be the one to answer :)

i need it for a sebring axel nut; 180 ft-lb
also my father in law needs a new one and he works on big-rigs

if you dont need it to measure angles (typically stretch head bolts) you can get the regualr 1 for 379. regular click type are roughly 280.


some old school guys dont like this new electronic stuff (even though its much better)

with the tech angle you can watch the amount of torque youre applying as you tighten it. it goes up until you reach the set point, beeps/vibrates, and will display the ending torque.

id have to ask my dealer but i dont think as often as the old click type. you also dont have to zero it out whend one since there is no spring in it.
