If you see the Mustang and fall in love with it, buy it. It's what I did.

And yeah, I have that "V6 bullshit" as you say, but it's getting procharged soon.. I am a full time student here... so a GT was out of question. But it's a 5 spd with a Hurst shifter :)

PS. I am currently drooling over a Roush Stage 3... can't wait to graduate.

Buying a car based on falling in love with it is such a terrible idea. Ask me, I know.

I did it before and I'll do it again, although its never really turned out bad. Have you seen the pics of my VR4. Cant say she has really ever done me wrong. No matter what the problem she always gets me home.

 V6  Sorry, but even you know your car is a dog and you can expect that statement on this board as most of us came from 3SI and the greater population drives twin turbo V6's putting down as much or more than even the GT model. Straight up even the GT felt slow to me, granted I didnt get on it hard but when I go half throttle in my car it throws you back, full throttle is insane and 1st and 2nd fly by in a couple seconds. The GT was pretty nice, dont get me wrong but I would love one of the new Camaros.... and after all the shit with the Ford dealership it looks like I will just wait for the 09 Camaro. I get a discount with GM as well so no skin off my back.

for being a v6 its not too bad. mid 14s and a supercharger puts em in the 13s. if we all had our way we would be buying GT500s and not even considering a GT or lowly camaro

I went autocrossing with a guy with an 05 GT it impressed me a lot more than i thought it would. It handled way better than i thought it would also. I would go for the 09 camaro though.
