With Regret, LSE Performance LLC to close 2/28/08

Post by niterydr »

The time has come for LSE Performance LLC to downsize, effective 2/28/08

There are a variety of personal and business underlying reasons to this decision, but our decision is final.

All customer cars will be contacted on the status/completion of your car, we are not taking in any more work, or have been for the past month.

Thank you to all of our customers we have had, your support has been great. John, Ryan, and I will still be around for minor repairs as well as I will be tuning on a contract basis. We will not have a public storefront and will be by appointment only, parts sales is currently under review.

Thanks again everyone, it has/was fun!

We will be posting up a open house/flea market event in the next weekend as well as posting all of our parts/tools available that we do not want, on forums/craigslist/ebay.

I figured I would post this over here as some members/customers of ours are on here as well.

That being said, I am not going anywhere, this site rocks and it wasn't even the purpose I am on here!!

This is shitty news. :( Not that I bought a lot of things from you Josh, but as far as thinking of a business I could 100% trust, it's a sad day. There just isn't that many people like yourself around you can count on. Good luck wherever you go my friend.

Sucks to hear Josh. :( It kind of makes me second guess my "dream" of owning my own shop one day.

I dont know what all you plan on selling in the "fire sale" but maybe at least post up a
link to the items. Being I now plan on keeping the DSM you may have some things I am interested in.

Josh, I know how it feels and understand what you are going through. I think some people take for granted the time you spend with them working on their problems. The thoughts of a guaranteed pay check and not dealing with all of the bills is a huge relief. Good luck in whatever you guys choose to do with your future.

Sorry to hear it. I know LSE was one of the most respected 3/S shops around.

But some times you have to cut your losses and move on to something new, I understand that. Good luck with your future endeavors!

Wait a second...

3sx announces a new technician position, and suddenly LSE closes shop? Very suspicious. :suspect2:

No offense, but I wouldn't leave minnesota for anything short of a 6 figure salary.

We will still be "around" but picture a IPO style parts website and me traveling and tuning, and that will be the extent of LSE Performance for the next few years.

We all needed a step back before we burn out on cars in general. The inconsistant paychecks are tough, we all have personal issues going on in our lives, and with the local economy taking a slight dump...it was the best move instead of relocating (landlord wants our spot, lease due end of this month).

How about some IPO style drama to go with the site?

On second thought, maybe you should skip that part. Best of luck to you with the new business. :)

LOL!

I meant bare bones pricing due to low/no overhead on the vendors that begged me to still work with them/our favorite accounts.
