Why was my car not driving? Was it the axle with the torn boot? NO. Was it the clutch? NO! Turns out, after all this work, My output shaft and the input sleeve on the x-case are stripped. I specifically asked the mechanic, "are you 100% positive that its the clutch?" and he said "I'm positive." Although the clutch was pretty dam fried, it was not the culprit. Once I pulled the x-case off and saw the ridge and what was left of my 25spline output shaft, I knew it. Well at least I got a good clutch out of this. Now to look for an output shaft and someone to put it in. I hate my car.

Im praying to god my VCU isnt fucked up either.

Dude, you live in PA which is like 30 mins from where I am in college. NJ is like 1.5 hrs from my house on Long Island lol.

I have a 25 spline output shaft [PM me] it really isn't that hard to replace if you follow the instructions that are published. I can be done while the transmission is in the car and should taken about 2 hours start to finish.

is it for a 5spd or 6spd. Yea from what I understand its just wheel, xcase, downpipe, then pop off the tranny end cap(and allen head bolt) then knock in the drift pins on the VCU and pull the VCU cap then the shaft should knock through.
