The list for the NA to TT conversion is posted, everyone knows it.
If a vendor sold a kit, it would be bad ass. Tracking down the parts is a bit of a pain in the ass it would be worth paying a preimium for a kit.
Just a tought for one of you vendors out there. I am not sure if there are logistics that make this unrealistic or not. The conversion and the parts required is very well documented. The pain in the ass is tracking down the parts, in good shap ect.

I think the problem is most people have gotten accustomed to the price point of using salvage parts for their conversion. $2000 or less. Pricing all of that stuff out new, and with new or rebuilt turbos would cost a small fortune.

No offense, but i've never understood the whole FWD TT thing... All you get is more power to 1 wheel.

User parts are cheap. Place an open offer to buy the necessary used parts, supply new OEM gaskets, and spend a little bit of time rebuilding turbos. If you can keep the price under $2k AND include rebuilt turbos, you'd probably be able to sell a few kits.

Oh I agree there are better ways to spend money on your car . . . .
However, once you have worked your way through the upgrade bible, and you want to throw some other stuff into your car this is the next step.
Don't get me wrong I swtill have an eye out for a VR4, but my SL is in better shape than any of the VR4's I have gone to look at so far. I will pick one up when I find the right one for me. Until then, why not have a little fun with my SL. She is an SL but still sexy, I hate her sometimes, but other times I want to violate her tail pipe with my dong.
Fact is until I find a sweet VR4 that is close enough for me to visit, drive, check out, I am going to keep putting stuff into my SL. It may just end up being a bad ass car for eating front tires in a week, and get smoked off the line, who knows. I have had the car for like 7 months, and am running low on other performance upgrades. I am not going to sell her after dropping almost 3K on a tranny last month.
I know new the parts would be more than buying used turbo's with shaft play, and a leaking ECU, but there are some of us noobs that will spend more on good parts. If they don't like the price, fuck them, let them get worn out parts for thier cars and replace them a few times, equaling the cost of doing it right the first time.
The list of parts is there for all to see, and the write up on how to do it is there for all to see. The scary part really is the prospect of buying crappy old parts to me.

Well I like buying parts and putting them in my closit, because I lack balls with touching my car. When I get around to getting this installed we can run a bit at an NG for fun. I am sure you will win, but we can see how much smoke front tires can put off before exploding.

th only things you really need to worry about are the turbos(of course), waste gates, and the ECU. other than that it's just a bunch of pipes etc.

Last month I had an ATX put in my car and got a 2 year waranty on it. I checked and it did not say if I add more power to the car the waranty is void. so . . . I do want to give it some hell while it is free to fix.

There's nothing wrong with turbo-charging an NA car. Just don't expect it to automatically be a race car. One of my cars is almost stock aside from the TT conversion. It has more power than it did when it was NA, and is still comfortable to drive.

or cheap if you get shitty 1's. you should be our "MarkOverClock 15g's" gunniea pig. I'll sell you my blown 9b's for $75 and you send them to him for the "rebuild/upgrade" and get an ECU. only problem is getting my car somewhere for me to work on.

How much does the guy charge to rebuild them?
Mods - Booby is a friend he isn't trying to pump me up for a sale or anyhting like that so it doesn't violate the no selling rule.
In fact I am sure he ment 75 durians and not $.

That's a real easy bet to make since the FWD 5-speed tops out at about 155
