The average slug moves at 2.36 inches per minuet, or 141.60 inches per hour, or .00389 miles per hour.

Given the spool time of a 13T and the range of said slug, we can give it a conservative power increase over N/A to 5.32 inches per minuet. Given it reaches full spool at .67 inches from a dead stop.

i bought a snail for my saltwater tank because it is called a turbo snail....now thats sad

There just isnt a whole lot of info about them. A local picked up a set as well and wants to put them on sometime. I hope they are good because ppl have said they have lots of potential but not a whole lot of ppl got them.

13T are the biggest talked topic of 3S since FWD TT. They both suffer the same fate though.

You are right though. It's the same people that buy a 3S TT and can't afford to replace the clutch that magically slips a few months later. So, they drive around in it and problems build and then the platform sucks. Their retarded friends say so, it's on the Internet on some random forum (so it must be true), and then the entire world thinks the 3S platform sucks. Sad but true.

I won't deny their are a lot of the wrong people doing these things. For every dozen or so idiots, there's one guy that does it right and makes their shit run good. J-Groove is one of those that I doubt would do anything half-assed (in fact, he is more thorough than I if you ask me), so he's good. My FWD TT has been pretty good minus my entire breaking a 160K trans a couple times. Hell, if you didn't know about it you would think my car is stock by the way it drives.

Now if only I could find the cash to get my 13G wheels installed and figure out where to mount an alky tank...

Thanks, that means a lot.

It was your old ESX Jeff that let me know back when I was 18 what I wanted to do performance wise on my car. It just wasn't until years later that I had the money and the car know how to get it done, even now it is still a learning process.

There is a handful of FWD TT projects that are coming together and in a great way right now on 3Si.

Mr.3000, Green Lantern, mydude(I can never remember that screen name), and BigTyla just to name the ones I can think of.

All of them are taking the steps to make sure it gets done right, which unfortunately means our build times take a while as we iron out the gremlins.

As for the 13Ts, with those who have tuned them properly and those who have really pushed them have given a great window into what they are capable of. After this my car will be done with power mods, only thing left to come will be to make my current set up more efficient. But being FWD 400+ is as high as I want to go.

what have you done to solidify your trans? If anything, that has become the glaring, shining weakness in my car. Everything else has been rock solid, but I simply can't keep all the gears in one piece it seems.

I drove BIG_BALLER's 13T/FMIC car and it was fun but a bit scary.

That is unfortunetly the one point I really went "budget" with a SFR LSD insert.

I know, trust me I know it is just a bandaid.

Want I will be going with is a TT converted tranny with a Quafie LSD. Damn thing will be able to hold what I'll be throwing at it.

Until I can buy that I will keep away from launching her and all should be well.

I've installed more 13Ts into cars than any other turbo. Yet, for some reason, no one seems to use them to make any numbers or times...

Everyone I install these for just likes to drive thier cars.
