put it back together already but I was thinking about getting a roll cage. How do the people with them like them? I would get this one http://www.swracecars.com/shopping/shop ... =Mitsubisi I am curious about how much of a pain is it to get into the drivers and passanger seats. How hard would it be if I needed to use the back seat for short distances for some odd reason. Did it make your car handle any better? Should I just quit looking at parts?

Stop stalling Coop. Get the car running, then add along the way. And yes, I can talk. My car is AS WE SPEAK in the hands of the tuner. Now, get yours back together, have it running, then look to a cage.

Put the roll-cage in before you put the interior back in. It'll save you a headache for sure, assuming you're putting it in yourself. If you're having a shop put it in, it may cost a little more if the car is all back together because they'll have to strip the interior.

I say skip the cage. Sure its required but how often are you going to take the car to the strip. I say take it twice. Once for test and tune then once to lay down a kick ass number and get kicked off the track.

I have been thnking about a cage... I don't know if I really want one or not though :/

A old Sig of mine seems fitting here.

I'm just guessing- but even if you cut away what you need to so that back seat everything is still in place, I think bars are going to be majorly in the way for anyone to sit in back seat.

How much does the cage weigh? Any car I'd have one in I'd be stripping a good amount of various other interior weight at the same time.

jgrove, you really do look 12 in that pic lol. I know exactly how it feels when your torn between getting it running and more upgrades. Tajman, I dont care about weight. Heck my car could weight 4500 and I will not care. I like things to be simple though. Things like josh's tubular sub frame and egr deleat just to make things simple are a must.
