Hyundai Genesis Coupe
"Hyundai promises the coupe to be the cheapest 300HP RWD sports car ever," around $20,000.
Thoughts?

Exactly. Their warranty is a bit shady. They screwed over my GF's car. Did recall/warranty work and it failed and left her to rot.

The production version probably won't look quite that radical.
The last blurb I saw said it'd be a 200-ish horsepower 4-cylinder for $20k, and a 300-ish V6 for $25k.
However you slice it, it's pretty cool. It'll be interesting to see how Ford and Chevy respond to this with Mustang and Camaro pricing.

Hyundias back in the 90's were a joke, but now a days they have really stepped it up. Nice job. And I hope they don't tone this down to much.

^tibby is supposed to be a 300+ hp n/a v8
That thing looks really good IMO, im glad Hyundai has really reworked themselves over the past few years, they are much better than they used to be. I just hope the interior and overall quality of that thing will be good as well.

Hyundai uses Mitsubishi engines/technology and I think near 300HP out of a 6G72-variant N/A most likely is great.

love the pics of it where the front end is covered. Partially because I don't care for the look of the car's front end, partially because I wasn't looking at the car
Otherwise, that's a pretty shweet Hyundai.

I'm really interested in this car. It is showing some major promise.
I'm assuming this car is/was the rumored next gen Tiburon?

I think it can go either way, wither as a separate model or as a replacement.
As pointed out by J-Groove, reading owns me

I thought the Genesis was supposed to be a V8 sedan. ??? I am really surprised that they are going to bring out a sports coupe AND a new beefed-up Tiburon. Should be interesting to see how these new cars are going to reinvent their brand.

Beautiful color. The front end curves a bit jerky to me...

I'm not a fan of Hyundai...or their attempts at sports cars. I would like to see them make a decent fast reliable coupe...not another Tiburon which is what that kind of looks like. A Tiburon with a body kit and new curves.
I got the midas touch when it comes to rollin shit up
