You can get a kit cobra for like 11, and then you provide the engine and some suspension stuff. But look who I am talking to, go buy a real one ;)

The kirkham is built in a MIG factory and is better than the original. IMHO. 95 % of the parts interchange with the original

Kirkham is the best in the Cobra field. I did a lot of research, cuz I really want to build one in the somewhat near future, and they're workmanship is better than anything I've ever seen.

the only cars that people don't paint because the bare body jut looks so god damn beautiful.

On the Internet they say, "You never get this! You never get this!" But then one day they all met in Cali and they get this.

I got something that looks a lot like that sitting in my garage right now, it's a 1960 white w/ blue offset stripe and a built 289 in it. Belongs to my roommate, it's pretty badass.

Sorry the pics aren't the best. I had to use my roommate's camera which is pretty old. I stuck my SL into the 2nd pic just to represent a lil' :p

The hardtop is a one-off job made for the car, it definitely looks better without it. I would have gotten some pics of the engine for ya, but I couldn't figure out which one it was and since my friend finally got this car back on the road I'm not about to break it.

That thing could use a nice paint job and I agree those cars look SOOOO much better with no top on it. If its raining, you're not going to be driving that thing anyway lol.

That looks like 289 cobra kit. The fronts and rear fenders on the 427 kits are much more beefy.

This is a 427

This is a 289

I can assure you it's not a kit car, it really was built in 1960. It has been modified a bit though and yes it could definitely use a new paintjob among other things. But it's definitely in better condition than when he bought it.

Find out what it is...maybe its an old AC Ace 2-seater roadster bulit in the 1960-61 it was a prerunner of AC Cobra. The AC Ace 2-seater roadster were originally straight 6 engine cars.
