Flushing the coolant system

My 3/s had mostly water in it. It’s old, sat, and I need to flush/clean it. My new water pump should be coming in and before I put it on I want to make sure I have it as clean as I can.

Before I go down the YouTube rabbit hole….any suggestions?

50/50 mix. Which water pump did you get? Is oem even an option anymore. Lots of bad quality water pumps out there that fail abruptly and ruin engines.

if its rusty due to running mostly water youll want to do a chemical flush.
