Went to a few dealerships today

God, what a bunch of thieves. Friend was trying to trade his pristine 04 V6 mustang with 30k miles for a 2000 with nearly 78k (GT) and with their financing his payment would go up 50 bucks a month, PLUS they wanted 3000 dollars cash. Rediculous.

Anyway,
I got to check out a new Saleen GT500. Pretty trashy. The interior is the same bland interior as all the new Mustangs, sure it puts down 500hp, but is that so hard to accomplish now-a-days? They wanted 72k for it. Guy bought it, put some rims and 300 miles on it, then traded it in. Looks like it may have been in a minor collision though, as the driver's side window wouldn't line up completely, so there was about a 1/2" gap at the rear of the window. Awesome, I just paid 70k for a car that isnt water tight in the rain.
So then we went to a Chevy dealership, as we saw online that they had a Mustang that fit his requirements, but turns out they sold it a couple of hours earlier. So we checked out some brand new Z06s, and 08 Coupes, and god, they are such a well put-together car. Granted, they wanted 86,000 for one of them, but its worth pretty much every penny.

Summary for those who dont want to read it all: Dealerships suck, Fords suck. New GT500 = overrated and overpriced.
