Winch

I am trying to get two birds here. I’ve wanted a winch for my 4 wheeler but I would also like a winch on this trailer to pull the model A in. Only needs to pull 2000-2500. Nothing massive. But if could dual purpose it and put it on the 4 wheeler after then why not.

It’s a 2004 Yamaha kodiak. I will be looking up sizes later but if anyone has any suggestions then throw it out there.

I am perfectly okay with harbor fright as it’s gonna get very little use but maybe I want something similar. I do want to mount it on the floor of the trailer. Was gonna put a couple D rings up front that I could attach a snatch block too and so I could have some left or right pulling if I need be as well.

Thoughts?

Agreed but go heavier if you're planning on using it on the trailer. 6-7k at least

It has got to pull cars up the ramp, so for sure pad the load rating.

On the ATV if you are pulling other things out with it, mount it low. If extricating your ATV from sticky situations then it might not matter where you mount it as much.
