4 wheeler to golf cart

Post by DCIV »

Saw a project for sale earlier this week that was interesting.

It was a 4 wheeler that he wanted to transplant everything to a golf cart.

That just seems like something I would love. Anyone seen any cool projects this week?

I put a new fuel fill hose in the Monti. It was shot and leaking badly. Last couple outings to the gas station were awkward. Robbed the line from the 95 SR as finding any 1st gen monti's is becoming virtually impossible.

Me: Put the fuel nozzle in my monti. Start pumping gas
Random Joe: Weird stare
Random Joe: Um your leaking...and not a little
Me: Yea, I should probably fix that
Me: (back in the monti) Well there goes 2 gallons on the pavement.

If the weather is nice I might swap over the LSD 3rd member this weekend. Will see.

Cleetus McFarland and The BoostedBoiz did a golf cart build off in November. Cleetus put a 1000cc engine from a GSXR in his. BoostedBoiz put a 600cc from a R6 in theirs with a rear swing arm from a 4 wheeler. It was cool.

I think it would be better than modding a golf cart, I’ve always wondered if those lifted ones with the wheels were dogs or not. I think it would be fun!

With your car lot why would you drive the one that was leaking gas?

I dont insure all my cars at the same time. Also, tank isn't going to fill itself. Luckily I have only gone through a couple tanks this way before I had it fixed.
