I need a Bimini for my ski boat. The factory one was so small that it did not provide enough shade to matter and thus we never used it. Fast forward to having a kid and needing some shade I am highly tempted to make my own Bimini. Anyone ever tackle something like this?

My parents just always used an upholstery shop and pre-made frames
