Yeah they are flaming piles of shit. Ford basically admitted fault and extended the warranty to 150k I think.

I've seen so many articles on how shitty those transmissions were. I don't know how this took so long.

A former co-worker had a Fiesta with this shitpile of a gearbox. I was outside when he was leaving the office once, and it sounded like a bunch of rocks rolling around in a coffee can. This was after it was allegedly 'fixed'. I told him he should have ditched it after the first time it left him stranded halfway into an intersection. That thing was dangerous.

It's amazing they have been able to "get away" with it relatively unscathed!

Glad I got the ST and then the RS. 6-sp manual FTW

I would buy a ecoboost f150, that really might be my next vehicle and then sell the avalanche. Gets decent gas, has good pick up....way cheaper than the raptor.
