This color shift correction is pretty amazing! It makes things photographed under water look as if it's on dry land.

That's not really the point though, it's to adjust it to be color accurate if there was no water.

Oh its not lost on me. All of that can be accomplished in photoshop or Lightroom with custom settings. I just meant I was expecting something more powerful.

Its not the same. They actually call that out in the article.

That is cool. Normally you have to use lights to get decent color with underwater photography.
