Nothing.

There are things I use more consistently than other, such as lucas oil products and CRC cleaners. But for the most part there is nothing I always use. Usually buy whatever is cheap/on sale at the time. Honestly products nowadays are all pretty similar. I don't buy the known cheap crap, but go OEM as much as possible for parts, name brand oils, cleaners, etc.

I've been using Reline Oil in the Stealth for a long time. Started using it in my RS now too. I've always used Mequires clay bar kits, and Meguires stuff for buff and polishing.

I've seen a few of his videos and basically he's stuck in 1985 when it comes to working on cars. I feel like a lot of his advice isn't as accurate with modern cars. Combined with his condescending delivery and annoying voice I don't understand how he has millions of followers....

Yeah? Reline huh?

I use mequires car wash and carnuba wax. But been wanting to try some of their black wax in the vr4.

That is something I haven't done in a LONG time - wax a car. Don't do it to the XJ. Too old and beat up. Dents all over from a hail storm years ago. Rust spots. Etc.

Volt - might be worth it, but don't plan on keeping it much longer and white color seems to still look good so far.

Soul - just a lease and the paint is shit quality. More than likely turning it in.

I will do quick wax’s, not the spray but with actual wax, where I don’t get close to plastics and get 90% of the car. Then I will fill wax jobs where I get the roof and tape off plastics.

10W40 in the Stealth

5W50 in the RS. Going to switch to 5W50 in the Stealth for the next oil change.

For oils I usually pick between Valvoline, castrol, and mobil 1. Usually high mileage ones and whatever is on sale. I still let the dealer do oil on the Volt. Just change the Jeep myself. Have a case of mobil 1 I bought at costco months ago still sitting there since haven't been driving the jeep enough to change it yet.

IIRC it calls for 5W50 like he puts in it. The RS has some wild oil requirements.

Redline is great oil for cars with strong oil demands, but for a daily driver I'd just pick up your favorite brand Synthetic oil and be done. I do recommend sticking with a brand though.

No it calls for 5W50, just like the GT350 and GT. That is Ford's new performance oil that they use in all their performance vehicles.

Redline is one of 3 oils that meet the Ford Specs, the others being Amsoil and Motorcraft Oil.

The RS calls for 5W50 because it does not have an oil cooler.

For motor oil. I really dont have a preference, but lately ive been buying Amazon brand and in the past ive almost exclusively bought Walmart brand which IIRC is Amazon brand too. Great oil and an excellent price.

Gear Oil, i really like Redline. Quality oil that works and lasts.

I clean my car with all sorts of manufacturer solvents. Some do better than others in certain areas. I like Mothers, and Meguires for the most part though.

Walmart makes some of the best brake cleaner though. That stuff is strong! lol
