Okay, so you may or may not know that I put my air compressor in my safe room, ran a hose over to my garage, and had them wire a switch to it in my garage. It keeps the noise down all over the house, it saves space, and I love it.

But I need a regulator in my garage, and a dryer.

What did you all use?

I just use the regulator at the compressor. The dryer I have is from harbor freight but I have not hooked it up yet.

Will you be painting?

No I will not be painting. But I want the regulator on my side. Powder coating takes low air, pressure testing takes low air, impact takes a lot, im just changing it all the time and it’s a pain two rooms away when I forget and hook up my impact at 20psi.

Was hoping someone did a whole set up and what order did you put things in, should my drier be before the line coming to the garage? Or right at the garage?

multiple driers are recommended anyway. Id do one on the compressor and one before each soft hose. Put a manifold in the garage to split it off and do a regulator for each line. Ideally depending on how big the garage is you would have air at your work bench and another drop or two around the garage.
