Hyundai - Yes/No?

Thoughts on Hyundai vehicles in general?
With the Volt paid off I am probably just going to keep that until the Voltec system is out of warranty. 2021 I think - need to double check. I think the rear suspension is having problems right now. Going to check that out next week.
That said, the Kia Soul we are leasing is going to be up in the spring. The original plan was going to be to purchase it out at the end, but we are also open to the idea of giving it back and trying a Hyundai. The paint on the Soul is not holding up that well. Might be because it is a dark color, but there are a ton of highly visible rock chips all over the front and it only has about 15k miles on it. Looks like it should have 60k by the exterior. It also shocks my wife every time she gets out of it. She absolutely hates that. Interior is holding up well so far, but it is also the middle trim level so cloth seats, not a lot to break, and the radio is lacking in performance. Comfort is meh for both of us on long trips. OK up to 1-2 hours.
We like the warranty, reliability, and safety of Hyundai and wife really wants AWD in her next vehicle (thinking Kona Ultimate AWD). Hyundai and Kia are basically the same thing, but Hyundai seems to be of "higher quality". For the money you can get a lot of great features/tech too. Their CPO warranty is great too. Rolls over the 6/60 bumper to bumper and the 10/100 powertrain into the new owner.
So anyone have any good or bad experience with Hyundai? Any other brands to think about?
Toyota is a no because no android auto. Honda is a maybe. Subaru is a no because overpriced for what they are. And no Ford or GM stuff she likes either.
