With the turbos positioned away from the engine bay, theres no real need for an intercooler.

You catch that? Wonder if it has something to do with them mounted closer to the rear of the car and maybe cooling a bit more?

I was going to say, 625 seemed low. Usually when I see the words twin turbo and LS it is pushing closer to 1000 hp.

Agreed - turbo position has almost nothing to do with resulting intake air temps and much more to do with compressor design and pressure ratio. Though obviously cooler air into the turbo is always a good thing.
