New or used, doesn't matter. You can get a $99,000 Bentley and a $500 winter beater if you want.
So, what do you buy and why?
Mine's easy. A C7 Corvette Grand Sport for ~65-70 and spend the remainder on a 2014+ Chevy Colorado.
That's pretty close to what I plan on doing in real life anyway. Once I pay off my Vette, I'm probably going to try to pick up a Colorado. It won't be hundred grand in the end, but the logic is the same. The Vette is a blast to drive most of the year, and the truck will do everything else comfortably.
