Im temped to buy this thing. Do you still need help with the programming/code for your 4G setup on your truck?

The programming is taken care of. I just need to sink some time into building a definition file for ECUFlash.

That's a pretty crazy deal. You should buy it just for the hell of it. I think you can use an Endeavor trans to make it AWD, but you'd have to go automatic. There's no V6 manual AWD transmissions that'll fit. Supposedly the Endeavor AWD rear subframe mostly bolts up. The Eclipse, Endeavor and Galant are all PS platform vehicles, so they share a lot of structure.

I really need another car like a need a hole in the head. Im trying to hold out for a 98-99 Full size monti or a 89-91 2 door Monti/Raider. It would be nice to get back into a 2 seater again though. As weird as they are I do like their styling.

An endeavor setup would be nice, especially if fitment is similar. You must have looked into this already? How about a VR4 trans with an Endeavor rear?

I'd want to see what the engine bay looks like, but yeah - I'd buy that for that price. Loved the little 4G we had for a while... Fun cars.

Engine is turned the wrong way. You can't use anything from the 3000GT unless you turn the engine 180*. It's not worth it.

There wasn't anything bad about it... That 6G75 has quite a bit of torque, gets off the line good. MIVEC gives it a nice bump in the midrange to the top. I put an Injen CAI on it with the filter under the bumper cover in front of the driver's side wheel and it sounded aggressive when you got on it - lots of air moving through that intake.

Ours had some paint issues behind the passenger door that I mostly buffed out, but the paint on ours was that strange green/gray/blue metallic color which was difficult to buff and make look good. I think the rear bumper cover had been replaced and painted because there didn't seem to be clearcoat on it.

Mechanically there were zero issues with it while we had it for a few years.

If it had twin turbos, we'd probably still have it. My wife thought it needed a little more power, but for what it is I thought it was well balanced. Handling was good, though I never autocrossed it.

Good to know. Paint looks to be peeling on this one too. Turbos would be a nice addition, but would have to rebuild the whole motor to handle forced induction. Wouldn't want to mess with that anytime soon.

If you want a forced-induction 4G then you really want the 4-cylinder and you can just use DSM parts.

Wonder if you could order a bare block from Mitsubishi (the correct block) as if anyone is seriously twin turboing them they need to have aftermarket internals. Their rods are skinny!

Should be able to get a bare 6G75 in whatever configuration you want, but then you need all the connecting hardware, brackets, mounts, plugs, etc.

That would be the sensible route.

Not that a twin turbo 6G75 wouldn’t be sweet, but it is very tight behind the motor to shove a turbo in there. No problems on the 2.4L like that.
