700+ hp Mustang.... with a warranty!

For 2018, RTR says that power number is going up to above 700 horsepower. How much above 700 we dont yet know, nor do we know which new components will help the car get there. But regardless, its going to be a 700+ horsepower Mustang available at select Ford dealerships, and it will come with a warranty.

It looks damn cool. The new Mustangs are almost enough to tempt me away from a Corvette. Almost
I saw a Mustang with those RTR grille lights the other day. Dunno what else he had done, but the lights looked cool.

Yes but now we have a factory warranties 700 hp Mustang and Challenger. Will GM take step next and make a 700+ Camaro?

The ZL1 already has 650hp. What can you do with 700 that you couldn't do with 650?

I know it's all bragging about a number. But as far as I'm concerned, Dodge ended that war with the Demon.
I'd much rather see a Hellcat and a RTR try to keep up with a ZL1 or even a 1LE on the a track like Laguna Seca or the Nurburgring.

gross. so glad we got rid of our mustang. it looks good but its too damn big, like driving a boat.

It is as stupid as the liter bike power race. Completely worthless. You'll never use 700 hp (or 200 in a bike) on the street. Or if you do - you should be thrown straight in jail.

Power is great, but I'd rather have a more balanced car. It gets old just burning up expensive tires.
I'm guessing that GM's answer will be the ZR1 when it comes out, and then probably a refresh of the ZL1 soon after that.
