Of the three main high end American Muscle cars, if given the keys to one and you had to keep it, what one would you take?

2017 Camaro ZL1
2017 Challenger Hellcat
2017 Mustang GT350

Why?

No surprise from me. I sat in a couple and had to talk myself out of it.

Speaking of powerlifting - going to compete in a USPA meet. If I go good enough I will be at Nationals in Vegas next year.

As for thinking about getting one of the three - not at this time, but have been saving up. I really want a ZL1, but I was curious as to what the general consensus on here was. Won't be until after I finish up school so not for another year or two at least, and by then I might be able to get a used for for decent $.

ZL1. Hellcat is overrated.

Between those three, I would get the hellcat. But would probably really consider the CTS-V beforehand. Can't stand the Camaro or Mustang.

ZL1 for me with the Mustang a close second (and that says a lot coming from me hah). Hellcats are just stupid and fugly.

People continually bash the Spyder VR4 for being extremely heavy at around 4050 pounds. Hellcat is an ass-tounding 400 pounds more than that. Old chassis design with a weak suspension setup.

Last time I was at the dragstrip I watched a Hellcat not even get into the 11's. I thought it was supposed to be designed for straight-line speed.

No, thanks. Too much hype that it really doesn't deserve. The ZL1 is a much better all-around car and better performance value than the Hellcat.

...or wait until the Corvette ZR1 comes out and then pick up a Stingray or Z06 for cheap.

I was just thinking about this and IMO the only one of these cars I'd consider a 'Muscle Car' is the Hellcat. It's the only one that really prioritizes straight line power. The GT350 and the ZL1 are both world class sports cars. The GT350R and 1LE ZL1 are both some of the most capable handling cars you can get for the dollar.
