3S in modified mag.

Post by Alan92rttt »

For anyone that has not been to 3SI lately Keith "mobo" Upton has a spread in the October issue of Modified Mag. Keith took all of the pictures for this article him self. Any long time 3S'ser should know his skill with a camera. I have not read it yet but its about 5-6 pages long.

It is a great article. Then again he also wrote most of it himself. :D

I miss Mobo's excellent pic threads. They always inspired me to blow some money on a crazy camera.

I should probably pick this up at some point. I guess his connections are what got him in and not the fact that people are starting to pay attention to our cars.

Funny how that works, isn't it?

If a copyright holder wants to raise a stink, it's Vira's ass on the line since she owns the board (as I understand it).
I certainly don't want to put her or anyone in that position, so i don't post, share, or talk about copyrighted material "distribution" on the forums (not directly, i mean :D )

How would she be held responsible? I forget the name of the act, but in normal terms it basically says that a site owner (such as a forum owner) is not responsible for the actions, what's written, etc. on their site by another user (assuming it's an interactive site like a forum/message board/etc.). So even if someone were to post it, it would be the poster's problem that they broke copyright laws. They (the copyright holders) would probably pressure Vira into divulging the users info though.

That's the point though. We don't know the legalities, and hiring a lawyer to find out really isn't an option right now.

Just go out and spend the $5 on the magazine :p If you can't get it where you live, I'll mail you one for a dollar or two in postage.

I've got the GT Pro issue scanned, along with the one with the purple and white VR4 (don't remember what mag it was). I've also got the infamous Cabo Joe SCC issues. Those were fun.
