Anyone been?

Damon a long time ago signed up for some Marlboro promotion at a bar and they have bene sending us stuff in the mail ever since (neither of us a smoke btw) - pretty cool playing cards, ash trays, cookbooks, etc. Well, they finally sent us something actually snazzy - this invite to go to Portland International Raceway for Marlboro Hot Laps - I guess you get to ride around shotgun in a Mustang Coupe (drifting) and a Panoz GTS (road course). You get all dressed up in the racecar outfits (yes of course we'll take pics!!) and they give you lunch and stuff. It's all free so we signed up!

Anywho...has anyone been to this thing? Just curious if it's as cool as it makes itself out to be?

Yeah. Except neither I nor Damon smoke...and right on the invite it says you don't need to smoke to attend. But yeah, I'm sure that's what they are going for. Good ploy if you ask me.

Also, free (and excellent) advertising.
