If anybody ever put my car on Overhaulin' (the VR-4, or the S2k), I'd probably (literally) crucify them *and* the production crew.

There are some cars on Overhaulin' that are crap, but most are really beautiful.
He doesn't make classic restorations, he does more show car/cruisers. I like most of them, or at least appreciate the work. He has an eye for detail. Most of the bad designs I personally blame on the inside people. Foose mostly works off of their ideas.
I like the show, but if I was doing up a matching numbers car I would beat them to hell for touching my car, but if I was building up a car I want to drive an enjoy, have at it.

generally, i think he turns out some pretty good stuff. his hemisfear hot rod that debuted at sema is easily one of the coolest cars i've ever seen.

the challenger is one of my favorite muscle cars ever, and i've seriously considering putting my car on hold to pick up one of those...but it's too much for me at my age.
Anybody that has a restored challenger is fucking awesome.

Chip Foose is a god, granted he has had to sacrifice some of his own ideas for the show that he is now a part of but if you knew about him before overhaulin' you would agree with me. The man is a legend and a genius and pure automotive talent flows in his veins. Even with all the recognition he now gets, all his talent and skill he is a very humble man. Sorry synchro but on this one I have to say you are horribly wrong so STFU. Whats next, gonna call boyd coddington a crack whore, maybe carol shelby is a cross dresser....
