I want the engine if you abandon it!

You came this far. I don't know what you're dealing with but I would love to see it finished.

I've had similar thoughts about my vr4s.

I think it’s the key stuff that’s stopped him or held up. Jeff why not just bypass it all and make it start with a push button or something. Screw a key, no one is gonna steal it.
How much will I regret it if I call a scrapper to take this thing away?
I'd say the timeline of emotions would probably go:

- Relief at first
- Then a bit of regret
- Then a shoulder shrug and happiness as you move on.

Pretty much the same emotions as selling your Stealth.

I already had one complete failure. Might as well make it two. Maybe it's just black Mitsubishis that are cursed.

Get rid of it. Move on. If your heart is not in it then it will be a burden. No need for that.

If you just made it start then someone could take it to the next level. But I do agree, if it’s causing you stress then dump it.

I suppose this scenario is what happens when you buy a nice sports car that checks off most of your wants and needs?

Or have so many projects on your plate that it’s just not worth the time. Honestly the Hummer prob makes this possible to dump it. Get a trailer and that underpowered/too big of wheel mall crawler might blow up though.

No such thing as too many projects.

I felt that way about the forester a few times. Glad I stuck with it though. If you don’t feel you will ever finish it then no point in keeping it. If you just need a break let it sit till you get more motivation.

Did I miss where you said what’s left with it?

Extending and installing the wiring harness. Finishing the exhaust. Figuring out the power steering system. Making enough brackets to give the Project Binky guys cold sweats.

But it's mostly that fucking harness. I should have just put a damn standalone in this thing.

That was my hiccup with the forester. Zero fucking regrets paying $900 to have them merged.

There's nothing to merge. Nobody makes anything like this. It's not like an NA to TT 3S swap, where 90% of the harness is common to both models and everything is the right length to fit into the body. I can't even merge it into the existing truck harness because there's virtually no overlap between the truck and the Endeavor.

Steve kept it simple. I overreached. Badly. Again.

This seems right up your ally though....this connector pin56, this connector pin5, this connector...let me look, pin2. Like I feel you could do that without looking up most of it.
