So what exactly does this car have that your other one didn’t.
Coop
It's a grand sport, so more or less ZR1 aero on the "base" model Corvette, and it has carbon ceramic brakes and the dry sump oil system.
If the source I found is correct, the build date for the GS is April 20, 2017. 4/20. Fortunately it was a Thursday, so hopefully nobody was too baked when they built it.

If April 20 is true, that's my birthday

Um. It's wider. And has very bright blue parts
In all seriousness, it's not drastically different than a Stingray with Z51 and magnetic ride, all of which my car had. I kind of set my car up to be an 8/10th Grand Sport anyway. GS has the same exact drivetrain. My car also had the dry sump. Widebody from the Z06. Wider wheels and tires. The front tires on the GS are as wide as the rears on the Stingray. GS has bigger brakes all around with 2 piece rotors and 6 piston calipers up front. This car also has the Z07 package. So it originally came with semi-slick Cup 2 racing tires that have since been replaced by the previous owner. They usually only last a couple thousand miles on real world roads, and I'm glad they're gone. He put the regular Pilot Spot tires on it. Z07 has a stiffer suspension with specific tuning for the magnetic ride system, and adds carbon ceramic brakes that are even bigger than the regular GS brakes.
It's regarded as the best all-around C7. The Z06 is just too powerful and unmanageable for the real world. The ZR1 is a bit better, but it's still way too powerful and it's unobtainable anyway. The GS has even more grip than the Stingray Z51 and the power is still manageable.
I love the widebody, I love the color scheme, and I've always wanted to have a numbered car. This one is number 876 of 935. So this ticks all the boxes.

In addition to this, you may actually get it on the 20th...on it's birthday

That's unlikely, but it would be pretty funny if it happened.

Glad to see things coming together.
Hope your new Vette is lit.

Couple other things I just thought of. This one is a 3LT trim vs the 2LT on my Stingray. It's not necessarily something I wanted, but it comes with the package. So it's got leather everywhere instead of vinyl, suede on the window trim instead of cloth, and a really nice quilted suede headliner with matching blue stitching.
It's also got standard navigation, Android Auto, front cameras, and the performance data recorder. So I won't have to add those in like I did on the Stingray. And it's got a soft close hatch. That was added in 2016. Previously you'd have to either have a door open, or really push hard on the hatch to get it to latch. The air pressure release system GM designed for the 14-15 cars just didn't work at all.

I'm gonna have to watch you closely though. You might try to steal my brakes
https://www.brembo.com/en/company/news/ ... mbo-brakes
The front rotors are 15.5 inches.
That's nearly as big as the
wheels on the Hummer.

I was going to list it at 47 and see how that goes. I'd be very happy around 45. But I'd give strong consideration to someone I consider a friend, and who I know would give it a good home.
If you're genuinely serious about it, let me know.
I can see it now. You're going to make me wish I took a week off to bring the Stingray out there and bring the GS back.

A certain someone who used to hang out here was looking for a DSM as a project car. His wife told him if he bought anything older than 2000, he'd be banished to the couch.

Werent there like 3 Vr4s that were technically 2000. They were over seas but still fits the rules.

Have a write up if what is on it with current pictures? I'm not entirely sure if I'm super serious or not but it seems like a better idea than some of my other ideas.
