Post your car's "To-Do" list!! Come on.. we've all got em!!

You have to disconnect the line under the car to remove the fuel pump assembly. Don't ever try to disconnect it on top of the tank.
I had to use the "2 wrenches to make one long one" technique to break your lines free because of all of the rust. It shouldn't be bad now since it was only about 8 months since it was done last.

Sorry to hear it man. If I knew what I was doing or had a way to get up there, I'd come help!!

Thanks man. I've just been fighting with the thing for over a year and thought I finally had it figured out. Ran fine all the way down to OC and as soon as I got there it started acting up. The thing is even giving me issues at cruise now (A/F randomly jumped from the 13-14 to 16-off the gauge at cruise).
It's just frustrating because there is pretty much no documentation on the thing (none at all on the newer version) so it's close to impossible to troubleshoot without trying random things.

Doesn't idle, A/F fluctuates RPM's start to surge and dip until it eventually dies out. However on occasion it idles fine which baffles me even more.

Hans - You have any experience with the emanage? It's supposed to allow you to adjust your rev limiter to whatever which would allow me to get rid of the overclocked ECU. Any negatives on it?

Never gotten an e-manage ultimate to work properly but to be fair, I've only tinkered with it on 2 cars. Got 2 successful e-manage blue's under my belt though.

That's not what I want to hear. The emange blue would work and might be an easy option (after all it does have fuel and timing, and I doubt the MAS is being that restrictive on my NA) however I sort of like the rev limiter option on the ultimate so I can get rid of that overclocked ECU which I think might be causing problem.s

I haven't played with the ultimate yet only a few blues. Isn't trevor running the emanage ultimate with good success? If it's anything like the aem ems it's not that hard to deal with. The driveability with the ems is great and it's not blowing out crazy black smoke like aaron's stealth did haha.

Maybe I'll give the blue a shot and see if it'll work. You can pick up everything for around $300 used. If that doesn't work I'll just sell it again and go with the ultimate.

Terry[/quote]A lot of the wiring is the same, so even if you go with the blue first you'll still have most of that done. The ultimate just has one additional harness compared to what the blue uses.

Did you have the blue or ultimate? You had idle issues with your car and the overclocked ECU too, correct?

Adam's been running the Blue with an overclocked ECU for a couple years now and he hasn't had any troubles at all that I know of. Emanage seems to be a pretty solid unit and easy to use. I'm going with the Blue here shortly.

Well I changed a setting per suggestion of turbobob and the car seems to idle now. A little high but it's rock solid and doesn't even flutter after getting out of the throttle. With that said I haven't drove it like this yet. It poured yesterday afternoon so the roads were soaked when I got home. Probably jinxing myself here but oh well...I would typically be pissed that one little setting caused all this but I'm just glad the issue might finally be fixed.

Which setting was it that you changed? If you solve the problem I might have to give those race cams another go.

MAF TPS Min. Not sure what exactly it changes since I don't have a MAF but I think it might distinguish between open and closed loop on the maft-pro. I had it set to .4...upped it to .8 and all is good.

New Rear Panels are in. It was a giant PITA trying to get the Rear Window panels off without breaking the clips. Other than that it didn't take too long.
Ordered the LED kit from Toni today, the gauge faces are waiting along with the dash at my house. Waiting on someone to PM me back about some powder coated aluminum dash vents he has so I can purchase those. I need to decide if I want to put in some cheap Prosport gauges while I have the dash out. Thoughts on that anyone?
Today I do one of two things. Install my Ipod cable on my W200, rewire the ground for the deck, and put a new fuse for the amp at the battery, or try to pull out some oxidation on the paint, followed by wash and wax.
