Tint done. 20%. State legal limit is 25 I think but the tint I wanted to try was either 20 or 30. Went with 20. Holiday sale so only $100 installed.

That looks way darker than 20% on the sides.

Ah makes sense. It looked at least as dark as my legacy that had 5% on the back door and window

Did some more spirited driving today with the new tires for a bit. Some of the speakers kept going in and out. Guess I'll be tearing into that as well while it's in storage for the winter.

Re: This can only end poorly
Radio in/out was driving me nuts. Took out the mid panel covers and saw nothing. In the process I broke 2 of those tiny plastic push thing that hold panels together. I'm hoping I can get it back together without needed to source them but probably not that lucky. Took head unit back out and was messing with the wiring while the radio was going. Kept going in/out so the problem was behind the head unit. Thought fault wire connection by previous owner. As I was unplugging stuff so I could get it on the work bench I noticed that the connection to the aftermarket interface module was a little crooked. Was hard as hell to separate. Cleaned the contacts and put back together. Works great now. Factory amp/subs hit hard, mid range and tweeters sound ok, etc. Not worried about trying to wire in another subwoofer now. No point. Sounds good enough with the bose actually working that I'll leave it as is for now.

Swapped out the map lights for LEDs holy crap what a difference. Makes me want to swap out the footwell and cargo area lights as well.

I need to stop buying shit.
Just ordered updated interior LED lights for the rest, a "tinted" emblem cover for the front/rear (will make it darker and the current ones are a bit beat up so might make it look cleaner), and replacement front air dam pieces. It is a 3 piece system and the previous owner only had the middle one left. Decent amount of scrapes on the lower radiator brackets so guessing they got ripped out. They also installed a front mount camera that still works so guessing they got tired of hitting shit.

Including what I paid for it, sitting at about upper 20s. I've really run out of stuff to buy for it though. Need to get it on the road more but can't do much right now with the cold.

Headlights and intake arrived while I was out of town. But the intake arrived smashed. UPS really did a number on it. Luckily they are going to send a replacement for me. Exhaust, air dams, interior lights, etc also shipped and should be here within the next week.

Worked on the headlights a bit today.
Have unbolt the fenders and bumper cover to remove them.

Had to remove/swap studs because factory puts spacers on theirs.
Factory:

Morimoto:

Morimoto also allows for sequential turn signals. In order to do that this connection needs to be taken apart. So I picked up some plugs from mouser to cap them off. Didn't want them exposed to the elements.

Still need to bolt everything back up and figure out where I want to mount these:

Not really sure yet because no real good location. It's for the headlights so want to mount out of the elements if possible. Might try to zip tie it somewhere but haven't found a good location yet.
I'll wrap it up tomorrow.
Interior lights are coming today.
Dam pieces and exhaust Monday/Tuesday so hopefully I can get everything wrapped up next weekend.
Then I'll start on the Subarus then the truck.

Re: This can only end poorly
Put everything back together this morning and installed the new front plate bracket. One of those removable ones in case I ever go to shows or for when I race.
I'll install the interior lights once it's back on the ground.
Exhaust and dams are still on track to be here tomorrow/Tuesday.
After those are on I'll drop it down and do the lights.
Still waiting on the replacement filter.
