It took me 3-4 months to sell mine for what it was actually worth. Have patience.

I've repeatedly said what I think it's worth and what I'd be happy to get for it, but everyone keeps telling me I'm wrong :p

Or a lot of people have an inflated impression of what these old cars are worth because of emotional attachments to the 3/S.

With that said, there are better ones than others. A very good example should still bring good money.

You know, when I meet ray for the first time I asked him who had the nicest as he has seen tons of them, worked on tons of them. He said that was hard but Italian graso was who he said had the nicest. I would love to see what he thinks about the guy in Austrila who basically built one only using new parts from the paint up. Ray is suppose to go tune it.

But condition just very so much from 3/s to 3/s and I believe jeff when he says it doesn't look as nice in person but chris, wasn't yours low mileage and very well kept. I thought yours was nice? Have I been wrong this whole time?

Yeah it was lower mileage, IIRC it had 74k when I sold it, and I did a good job of keeping it up.

I was more of saying I wasn't as too thrilled about actually driving it. I mean I bought it with 59k owned it for 10 years and sold it with 74k and it was never broken down for a long period.

Y'all talk a big game, but not one of you has shown me a comparable car that actually sold in the last year in the ranges you're talking about.

Then take that guy's $4000 and you are done with it. If you just want it gone, then that would get it done, assuming he's actually serious and has the cash.

At the end of the day it is your car. You can sell for whatever you want to whomever you want. I just like fucking with ya.

I wouldn't go less than $4500, but....please see Exhibits A and B.

Honestly jeff this car would sell faster if people on 3si remember who you are. You could ask more, sell faster, if they just knew about the trans, output shaft, and ecu. But you post so rare that these new people have no idea.

Just my .02.

The car is a solid 5500-5000 car all day long, doesn't mean you will not have to wait on it.

My car is stock when it comes to all of those things.

I checked out of this car years ago. I stopped considering myself a 3S owner when we sold the Spyder. Of course I don't post. What would I post about?

I wasn't talking about it being stock. I was taking about the person who figured out how to bring the Quattro shaft to 3/s, how to get us flashed ecu's and so in. You arnt me messing with a vehicle is what I'm saying. But no one knows that. That means something when buying a 3/s. Are you a novice....no. But plenty sell Vr4's and have no idea what they are doing....you do.

QUADCO, and that was mostly Steve.

I did very little. Greg, Adam and Brett made it into what it was.

I gotcha...you are horrible. Don't know manual torque specs...don't know electrical. Don't know crap and just hoping it works.

Jeff you are missing the point. You know your shit and there for the work you did they will likely not have to redo! Not that things arnt going to break but at least what you did was correct. That MEANS something.
