I've already got the stage 2 aero on my car, so that wouldn't be any change as far as scraping. The tires would probably be bald and in need of replacing on any car that old anyway. Suspension might be an issue though. I'd be curious to ride in a Z07 car that has the MRC upgrade.

I'm not really seeking it out, but I wouldn't say no if the car had everything else at the right price.

Damn. Another one.

This one is interesting. It's still at the dealer it was originally delivered to. I'm sure this one won't be cheap.

Not sure how Schoolcraft Michigan managed to get one...It's south of Kalamazoo, and there are only around 1500 people that live there.

7-second capable twin turbo kit for 18k?

He's also got a powerglide conversion for sale. I think he wants 15 for that.

Got this from the C8 manual. It's going to be useful for making a housing for my camera.

How accurate are those phone app db meters? I might need to do some before and after readings soon :suspect2:

:o hnoes:

I think they are ok. Enough for you to compare before and after. Sure it won't be accurate to the .001 decibel, but for what I think you are wanting it for, it should be fine!

Do you think the cabin is louder now the camera is installed? Or you gonna put an exhaust on it?

Coop

He's not close to installing the camera...

I'm guessing it's something like this. https://www.awe-tuning.com/c7-corvette-exhaust-suite

Someone with a much nicer garage made a much better video with sound tests than I could have. So I'm not gonna bother with that now

That guy was a dick.

That's exactly why I only got an x-pipe. It's only a little louder at idle. The reviews I've read say it's not a significant difference until you get up past 4k RPM.

If I do eventually decide to get an axle-back, it'll be one that retains the valves so I can quite it down and not be a shitty neighbor.

Someone is still bound to complain about it. Might not be to your face, but Karens are everywhere. Don't you live in a court too?

I do like your approach though. Keep the butterfly valves to cut down on the noise. My brother in law did the same.

My elderly neighbors love my car

My neighbor on the other side seems pretty cool. I wonder how much longer she'll be here though. She just lost her job with UPS and was already talking about having to go to a food bank.

I'm not worried about anyone else. The initial start up bark is the only thing I can't change. I can keep it pretty quiet in Tour mode once I'm moving.

Nice, enjoy it while you can. My neighbors are pretty chill so far. Then again I really dont drive loud cars at the moment. Only have the F-250, Ram, Acura, and Monti insured at the moment.

Vira's car is louder than mine. No cats at all. I can hear her coming from several blocks away.

There's a Roush Mustang down the street that's pretty loud too.
