Or.. stop bringing two tons of garbage whenever you go somewhere. Not to mention a wagon is far more practical than a truck if you really want to haul all that BS.

2 tons of cushion and the ability to tow, load, haul, camp. No need to drive a Cracker Jax Casket everywhere either. Hes already got several of those.

If you get a lockable bed cover, than a truck becomes very practical.
If we didn't have 2 dogs in addition to the kids, I'd seriously consider a pickup. My sister and brother in law have a pickup, and they can get everything they want/need into it, and it gets 20mpg.

Agree with that statement. I recently installed a soft cover on mine before we took off on a long trip to rainy Portland. We fit everything in the bed including coolers, strollers and bags and it stayed dry. I bested 24mpg in the Ram too.

I had no idea how much stuff I would have to take when I had a child. Yeah the diaper bag, but then their pillow, and blanket, and baby doll...but if we are going to the zoo then we need a stroller, a lunch bag, possibly the swim stuff as there is a splash pad....add in if we spend the night we need a pack and play, any meds, multiple clothes for night time and next day, lots of clean wipes, and the list goes on and on and on.
Get the truck. Put on a cover and then get one of those sliding bed things.

I would have reached out to several of you if we had time but I got wrangled into helping set up, tear down, and be the photographer for my nieces wedding. We literally had a couple of hours to spend as a family and visit downtown Portland.
Also, Duck should be the only upset one. I didnt realize until too late that we stayed in Beaverton.
