The GNX is crazy. It has never been titled. I saw it on an episode of Leno's garage. The dealer that is still in possession of it is kind of a weird dude. He almost cried when Jay asked to take it for a ride.

I thought people bought Miatas because they are dirt cheap race cars that you don't feel bad beating the shit out of 'em. But this one is all shiny and nice looking and someone paid a lot of money for it, which likely means they aren't going to race it - so I guess I don't see the point of the whole thing.

It depends on the car. Some people just like the small tossable nature of them and love the power they'll accept. I'd have a hard time throwing 40k at a modified Miata like that but I can understand why someone with lots of money might be willing to.
