I have "tons of maintenance records" for the Outback and it's only been in for one mechanical failure in the 3 years we've had it :d ontknow:

Super clean car, I'm not a huge Vette fan but it was clean enough I'm super tempted to buy it. I can't help but feel like it's a terrible idea between costs and it being way more car than the Miata. Haven't driven something with power like that since my VR-4.

Basically a newer nicer coupe version of the Miata. Felt faster and better on the street than the Miata ever was. Probably the best bet for what I'm looking for.

Also drove a TSX with the 6spd manual needs a clutch but otherwise it was very clean.

Cost of wear items are a big one. Rear tires for autox are about $300 each!
