Yea, it does look good, but he admits it nothing amazing up close. Not sure if he did the dip himself, or if he paid someone with experience to do it. That in itself is my biggest hangup. How hard is it to dilute properly, and what guns are best. Also sounds like 5-6 coats at the least is needed to peel off later.
dilute? I was under the impression you dont dilute it, its ready to spray if you get it from DYC

It'll cover the clear coat issues no problem. Wax the whole car before spraying. Even the areas were the clear is gone.
Removal and final product all depend on how its applied. This is why i got so many gallons. more than enough in case i need to redo something. Spray it on thick enough, it'll peal off. Some of the thinner sprayed areas will need some rubbing with a microfiber cloth. Like the edges of panels.
DO NOT LAY DOWN PRIMER before spraying the dip.

"I don't actually work on cars, I just talk about them on the internet."
Been thinking about doing this to my vr4. The car looks good as long as your not right on it and if you are you just notice so much wrong with it. Really starting to bug me. I just dont see me spending the money for a real paint job.
Has anyone actually done it? Owned a car with it? Would do it again?
