I may have gone with a different option if I had a different garage. But this is pretty much the only thing that'll work for me thanks to the low ceiling and that damn pole right in the middle.

To me one of the biggest advantages of this setup is it doesn't matter how thick your concrete slab is. The shorty 2 posts I've looked at all require a minimum of 3" but prefer 5"+. Your typical concrete garage is usually somewhere between 2.5"-3" of unknown tensile strength.

This is true. You can cut out and then dig down and add though. I also like the abuilty to just plain move them. I have a lower and upper garage. It would be nice that if I needed to just take them to the other garage.

You can do that with the MaxJax also, though it isn't nearly as flexible for placement as the Quick Jack is since the MaxJax needs anchors in the floor at each location.

I need to measure the slope of my driveway. I'm optimistic that I can wheel the QuickJack out there for ease of washing and detailing. Getting the wheels up high enough that you could sit on a stool and work on them would be great. One of the things I'm looking forward to is getting the wheels off the Vette so I can give them and the calipers a thorough cleaning.

I bought 3 more Flyin Miata pinch weld adapters. It seems to work pretty well. Next time I might use a thick piece of metal to spread the load more evenly on the rubber jack blocks.

Just use a hockey puck and cut a slot in it.

I've seen hockey pucks split before. The FM adapters were worth the money.

I haven't used pucks, but my lift has rubber pads with grooves in them that are long enough where they worked fine on the Spyder. I've just seen others use pucks and they were okay. I did get a set of the machined adapters for the Stingray, but haven't used them yet.
