I can flash quite a few 96+ Mitsu ecu's, and atleast read them.

As far as ECU repair, all we do is chipping for the dsm and capacitor replacement services.

Well, I paid for the TD06s today. So they're officially mine. I have a chubby.

Also, forgot on the list: W/M injection, and an X-fer case support bracket.

I must say I am impressed. I thought this thread might get one or two responses.

Tomorrow starts D day. Coilovers, control arms, solids, all set to go in. I am honestly dreading the control arm install. Mainly because its unfamiliar territory for me. I guess I'll play it by ear, and if I get into trouble I'll make some phone calls. Hans, Terry, Greg, keep alert.

By control arms, I assume you mean adjustable ones for the rear, to go along with the coilovers? And this is for the Stealth? If so, they're really not that bad. They're kind of a pain to get off, but I used a little 6" or 8" (can't remember) gear puller to get them off. After that, it's a piece of cake.

Yep. The adjustable ones. Thanks for the tip Eric. Terry threw me some advice as well. Like I said, I'll just play it by ear. The scariest part is the car has ~160k, so who knows how bad it will fight me.

Haha, I think mine was around 100k when I did it. It honestly wasn't that bad. Just be careful once it lets go if you use a gear puller....things kinda 'pop' when it comes undone....don't get hit

One quick question. Would it be easier to do the control arms with the struts/coiloers not in there?

Hmm, can't remember how I did mine. I'm trying to remember how our suspension is set up as to whether one way would be more beneficial. I want to say I did mine with the suspension still attached, so the control arm wasn't just hanging, but I guess so long as there's something underneath to support it, it doesn't really matter. I forget if there's room to get to the arm with the shocks and springs still attached.

Oh, that reminds me, I also have some Bilstein rear struts to go on.

Doesn't make any difference. They're not really in the way. If you need to raise the hub back into place to get the control arm back on, just use a jack.

Im not that dumb Greg. I just didnt want to put it all back together, then pull the control arm to find out I just wasted some time.

So Brians been busy as hell

I have been going non stop since yesterday morn. Got up for work, had a busy busy day, running around all day like a chicken with its head cut off.

Came home, started mowing. After I got done with the rider part I got the push mower out and did the "trimming".

Cleaned them all up and put them away. Then I started picking up in the garage. Got all the garbage picked up. Sorted thru mine and my brothers tools. Swept, gathered all the garbage, and burnt some junk.

Went ahead and drained the coolant while the car was outside the garage so I didnt spill any on the floor I just cleaned. Put the car in the garage then my brother got home and him and I pushed the Talon backwards a full car length from where it sat. Sounds easy but it didnt wanna budge. Moved it so we could burn a poison oak plant that was growing on a stump in the yard. THe Talon sat right next to it and I didnt want to melt the bumper cover. Then I helped load up my brothers gf's Rodeo with stuff she was taking to the flea market in the morning.

Was gonna start on the car but decided it was 1230am and I was done.

Got up this morning and started on the car. Pulled off the intake, the battery box, etc. Then I proceeded to change my heater hoses and TB coolant hoses for preventative maintenance. Got them changed and now the fun starts.

Solid motor mounts went first. It was so damn hot today I had to take a break every so often to get a drink and cool down. Even in the shade in the garage I had sweat rolling off me. If I was able to work straight thru it would have been about a two hour job tops. I think it took me 3 which isnt bad considering the breaks I took and how much the front motor mount tortured me. Put the intake, battery box and battery back in and fired it up and I LOVE IT. Engine doesnt budge.

Next step... coilovers. Fronts went in without much of a hitch. I need to adjust my camber a little but I am absolutely in love with my car and its new found ride height. I decided to call it quits after I buttoned up the front. I will go back once I get the rears on to adjust alignment to the best of my abilities.

I did take the car for a quick ride and DAMN. The solids make me realize the engine is there again. The coilovers arent near as rough as I imagined theyd be. Cant wait to get the rears on tomorrow. Wish me luck

I must say I am in love with my car. The drop is amazing.

As for ride quality I must say I am impressed. I have it set on the hardest setting and while a little bouncy its not unbearable. I pushed the car but not too hard because alignment still not perfect. I will adjust some more tomorow and hopefully get it in for professional alignment later this week.

I cant really say whether I have any extra vibration or not because I put solids in as well and my exhaust doesnt totally clear the rear control arm mount so it vibrates off the car a little.

Now for pics. I must warn you the car isnt looking its best right now. Its a little dirty. Its missing side skirts and it has some paint cracking on the front bumper but its in the middle of a transistion phase to get ready for paint toward the end of this month. Now that being said her she is.
