Your right I can’t. But I like to speed up a little going down hill, not downshift and ride out an uphill. So nope, I don’t have any intention on staying the same speed. I have intentions on driving.
Coop
Not maintaining speed is not "driving". One of the first things they teach in drivers ed in Michigan is how to maintain speed...

Coop is one of those people who passed me at 85 down hill and then holds up traffic at 55 on the uphill section.

Yeah and then gets pissed at you when you pass him, and won't speed up going downhill because you're using your cruise control

I don’t go that extreme, I just do a couple mph. I just hate downshifts when not needed by cruise control.

I do if I dont want to downshift. Dont you live in the flattest place on earth? Dont worry about hills or downshifting.

And where did I say I know than the computer? I just said I don’t like how they work. They are amazing at holding speeds. I never said I was holding it, or better than the computer, I was saying I like it a different way. Don’t Mike B twist this argument.
Not sure why adaptive cruise makes a difference why you would use it versus why you wouldn't. I understand the benefits of adaptive cruise, but only 1 of our vehicles has adaptive cruise, and I still use it all the time in our other 2 vehicles.
Only time I don't use it is when I'm in heavy traffic, or on neighborhood type streets. 40-50mph 4 lane with a left turn lane type street, I definitely use it.
Because out here heavy traffic all the time. Had to constantly adjust cruise speeds.

No. Arkansas has plenty of steep grades. Don't come in all high and mighty because you live in TN and there are mountains there. I driven plenty in the Appalachian mountains, other areas of TN, the Rockies, and the Sierra Nevada mountains. Always used cruise control and let the vehicle do what it's designed to do :d ontknow:

You literally just inferred it in this statement...You don't like how the computer holds speed, so you are going to do it yourself...
Because out here heavy traffic all the time. Had to constantly adjust cruise speeds.
This I can understand.

Not liking something and saying I’m better then it are two different things. Two different goals.
I just don’t like it and never used it so it’s nothing for me to use my foot. Others who use it hate using their foot for that long.
Now if we just had self driving cars that would rock.

Had a semi local who found a post about my other vr4 from 4yrs ago that I needed to sell it. He asked if it ever sold, well no. lol. Anyways, he wanted to give me 4k for it. I went down, made it run….he bought a truck.
Anyways, my other vr4 runs now, tires will not hold air but it runs. Need to sell it.

Got my main vr4 back on the ground after the CF fender instal. Tires are flat as I was gonna take apart my ssr gt3’s and refinish the center piece to match the engine in black chrome….yeah the bolts did not wanna come out and with 42 per wheel…I just didn’t feel like fighting it and then sourcing bolts. They arnt the best but there are plenty of other flaws on the car to worry about.

The paint is toast, the window trim and hatch trim are toast, and it has a body kit on it.
But it is a 4 bolt, 6 speed with brace, FMIC, huge single exhaust, peak hold gauges, turbo timer, upgraded fuel pump, sunroof, aftermarket wheels, and could throw in a flashed ecu.

Don't drive like an idiot too much, and you could easily do 18-20mpg.
Before I switched to E85, when I did long drives in my Stealth, I would get 25mpg
