Sent them an email to see how much it would be for the seats, door trim, and dash.

Lol. You had already made up your mind before you posted about it. Can’t wait to see finished pics.

They haven't replied to my website inquiry.

I just noticed they have the seat tracks listed separately. Another $75 each. :grumble: Assuming they don't cut me a deal for local pickup, I'd be at $840 for everything before tax. Really starting to second guess this. :sigh:

Does the $840 include the rear seats too, or just the fronts?

Both front seats with tracks, the red trimmed dash, and both black door panels. The rear seat is separate. That's part of why I got so excited. Most times these places try to sell the whole interior as a package.

Its more than you want to spend and I really understand that feeling, but I don't know that you're going to have this kind of opportunity again soon.

I know. You can't find these parts at all. And when you do, they're part of a package of shit you don't need and they're on the other side of the country.

I'm weighing that against the very real possibility that I'll kick myself for spending the money when I decide this truck, like everything else, was a colossal bad decision in another 6 months.

I don't see you saying this about this truck. You're making it the truck you want, and its a modern vehicle. Should be good for you for a long time.

I understand that too, but you've made it past 6 months already ;) . You seem to be enjoying it, it gets better mpg than the Hummer, it's more comfortable to drive, you've done a few truck things already. It is probably the most reliable engine and transmission combination Ford has put in a F-150 in a long time.

Minor little quality of life change. Added the OEM tailgate damper so you can't drop the tailgate now. Cheap and easy install.

Oh that makes it so nice to open the tailgate. It's weird how something so simple makes such a difference.

I added an aftermarket hood strut kit to my RS, so I didn't have to use the prop rod anymore. Similar quality of life improvement.

Tailgate damper is one thing I can't live without on a truck now. I always seem to forget my dad's Baja doesn't have one and it nearly breaks my wrist every time I go to open the tailgate.

I was planning to do it anyway, but it moved up my list when Vira opened it up and dropped it the other day. It'll be good for anyone else that has reason to go in there. I was kind of surprised Ford left the stud on the bed. I would have thought that would be one of their "let's screw the customers and save $0.12" cost cutting items.

Yeah it's nice to have the reliability of the OE one, but the aftermarket ones are pretty good and easy to install too.
